How do the grades vary with
balsamic? |
 |
Balsamic Vinegar has four different grades A, B, C and D all reflecting their quality.
The Balsamic we use and sell is a Grade B;
- Grade A - is very expensive and can usually only be found in gift packs or display bottles.
- Grade B - which we use is still a very good quality vinegar although more affordable and used as an
every day product.
- Grade C - is a poor quality vinegar and sold very cheaply in stores.
It is not uncommon for this grade of Balsamic to have
additives and preservatives.
- Grade D - This is what the manufacturers use for large production. This isn't classed
as a table product.
